Did You Try Something New to Start the School Year

Some teachers have mentioned that they tried a new strategy to start the school year.  Did you?  Would you like to share?  We get so many good ideas from our colleagues.  Why reinvent the wheel?  Why not share your ideas with others?  Take a second or two to share something you did this year that helped you get off to a great start with your students!
